Abstract
The aim of this chapter was to evaluate minimally invasive methods to remove anorectal polyps and polypoid lesions. It seems, that in higly selected cases of early stages of rectal cancer, these can also be treated locally. We show wide-scale use of non-invasive or minimally invasive methods and try to define when and how use them. Complications are also discussed. Last but not least, the argument for use of these methods argumet is a cost-benefite one.
