Abstract
Language learning advising aims at providing foreign language learners with advice concerning the ways to learn languages effectively. It reflects modern trends in foreign language education, namely learner-centred and learning-centred approaches. The author presented a language advising course for teacher trainees at Masaryk University in Brno. The course participants, students of an English Language Teacher Education (ELTE) study programme act as advisers for the students of a Primary Teacher Education study programme who need to improve their English language skills.
