The book “Scandinavia: Transformations of Nordic politics” explores Scandinavia as a political region of Europe. Aiming to fill a gap in the Czech academic literature, it focuses not only on traditional subjects of political science research such as institutional framework and political parties, but also provides introduction to the countries’ economy, welfare state, interest representation model and position in international politics. The book follows developments in both the individual Nordic countries and in the region as a whole.
