Abstract
The metabolic degradation of aldehydes is catalyzed by oxidoreductases from which aldehyde dehydrogenases comprise a nonspecific or substrate specific enzymes. Recombinant isoenzymes from pea and tomato were subjected to kinetic measurments with synthetic aldehydes containing a nitrogenous heterocycle such as pyridinecarbaldehydes and their halogenated derivatives.

Metabolicka degradace aldehydu je katalyzovana oxidoreduktasami, z nichz aldehyddehydrogenasy predstavuji nespecificke anebo substratovo specificke enzymy. Rekombinantni isoenzymy z hrachu a rajcete byly subjektem kinetickych mereni se syntetickymi aldehydmi obsahujicimi dusikove heterocykly jako pyridinkarbaldehydy a jejich halogenovane derivaty.
