Abstract
Polar auxin transport in stems is necessary for the control of bud outgrowth by a dominant apex. Our results support a model in which the apical and lateral auxin sources compete for primary channels of auxin transport in the stem to control the outgrowth of axillary buds.

Polární transport auxinu v prýtu je důležitý pro kontrolu růstu pupenů a apikální dominanci. Naše výsledky podporují model popisující, že apikální a laterální zdroje auxinu soutěží pro tvorbu auxinových toků v prýtu, které kontrolují vyrůstání laterálních pupenů.
