Abstract

Příspěvek se věnuje pozdně antickým vergiliovským centonům, konkrétně sedmi mytologickým epylliím dochovaným v kodexu Salmasianus souboru Anthologia Latina. S využitím teorie intertextuality jako metodologického východiska pro analýzu centonární techniky autorka identifikuje charakteristické strategie nápodoby uplatňované v dotyčných textech, které představují značně specifický způsob recepce kanonické poezie.

Abstract (in English)

The paper deals with late antique Virgilian centos; the focus is specifically on seven anonymous mythological epyllia surviving in the codex Salmasianus of the Anthologia Latina. Using the theory of intertextuality as a methodological basis of an analysis of the cento technique, the author identifies characteristic strategies of imitation applied in the literary form under consideration, which constitutes a highly specific mode of reception of canonical poetry.
