Here we propose an eventually ancient mechanism of intercellular auxin distribution by ER-localized auxin transporters involving intracellular auxin retention and switch-like release from the ER. Computer simulations of the model revealed its plausibility for generating localized auxin maxima.

V této práci navrhujeme možný evolučně dávný mechanizmus mezibuněčného transportu auxinu pomocí auxinových transporterů lokalizovaných na ER. Počítačové simulace tohoto modelu potvrdily použitelnost tohoto modelu pro generování lokalizovaných auxinových maxim.
