Abstract
Various aspects of packaging DNA in eukaryotic cells are outlined in physical rather than biological terms. All three approaches converge to the same unique sequence motif CGRAAATTTYCG or, in binary form, YRRRRRYYYYYR, both representing the chromatin code.
