This study intends to present and analyze various translations of Winnie-the-Pooh’s names from the classic stories by Alan Alexander Milne “Winnie-the-Pooh” and “The House at Pooh Corner”. The main core of the analysis is in the Slavonic translations of the Winnie-the-Pooh stories. The aim of the study is to reveal different tendencies in Slavonic translations and to explain for them.
