Abstract

Obor genderových studií Fakulty sociálních studií Masarykovy univerzity, Katedra genderových studií Fakulty humanitních studií Univerzity Karlovy, Centrum rodových štúdií Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Komenského, oddělení Gender & sociologie a Národní kontaktní centrum – ženy a věda Sociologického ústavu Akademie věd České republiky, v.v.i. uspořádali 2. konferenci českých a slovenských feministických studií: Feministická studia na hranici. Ta navázala na Konferenci českých a slovenských feministických studií, která proběhla na Fakultě humanitních studií v Praze v roce 2005. Konferenci vnímáme jako platformu pro dialog mezi disciplinárně, konceptuálně i epistemologicky různě zakotvenými přístupy. Konference je příležitostí k prozkoumávání feministických témat napříč poli vědy, umění, vzdělávání, pracovního trhu, politiky nebo médií či na průsečíku genderu, třídy, sexuality a etnicity. Proto jsou tématem konference hranice, prostor za nimi i mimo ně. Feministická studia na hranici Zazněly příspěvky zkoumající hranice mezi disciplínami a obory a jejich překrývání hranice a synergie metodologií a metod hranice a průniky veřejného a soukromého za hranice Východu a Západu za hranice Severu a Jihu hranice uvnitř společností a propojení mezi nimi hranice a vzájemné ovlivnění aktérek a struktur hranice v myslích, hranice v prostoru a jejich překračování hranice reality a jejich kritické překračování hranice a aliance mezi aktivismem a vědou hranice a provázanost každodenního a expertního vědění hranice normality a její posouvání hranice užitečného a neužitečného vědění hranice a spojitosti mezi objektivním a pozičním poznáním hranice, jejich dozorování a boření

Abstract (in English)

Gender Studies Program, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, Brno Gender Studies Department, Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, Prague Gender Studies Centre, Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University, Bratislava Gender & Sociology and National Contact Centre – Women in Science, Institute of Sociology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague have organized the 2nd Czech and Slovak Feminist Studies Conference: Feminist Studies on the Borders and Beyond. This conference follows up on the Czech and Slovak Feminist Studies Conference which took place at the Faculty of Humanities in Prague in 2005. The conference has offered a platform for dialogue among various disciplines, concepts and different epistemological approaches. It was an opportunity to explore feminist topics across the fields of science, arts, education, labor market, politics or media and at the intersections of gender, class, sexuality and ethnicity. Thus the conference topic: “borders and beyond.” Presented papers explored: borders between disciplines and their overlap, borders and synergies of methods and methodologies, borders and intersections of public and private, beyond borders of East and West, beyond borders of North and South, borders within societies and the points of connection, borders and permeability of actors and structures, crossing borders: mental and spatial, borders of reality and their critical transcending, borders and alliances between activism and science, borders and links between everyday and expert knowledge, borders of normalcy and their shifts, borders of useful and useless knowledge, borders and nexuses between objective and positional knowing, borders, disciplination and subversion
