Abstract

Jedna z nejdůležitějších otázek dospělosti osob s mentálním postižením je schopnost samostatného života. Rodiče mají snahu chránit své děti bez ohledu na jejich věk. Osamostatnění osob s mentálním postižením od rodiny je velmi těžké. V příspěvku je prezentované kvalitativní výzkumné šetření popisující přístupy a náhled na rodiny s dospělými osobami s mentálním postižením.

Abstract (in English)

One of the most important issues in adulthood persons with intellectual disabilities is the ability of independent living. Parents tend to protect their children regardless of their age. Independence of people with intellectual disabilities from their families is very difficult. This article presents a qualitative research describing the approach and perspective on the families with adults with intellectual disabilities.
