Abstract
Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) allow to model complicated processes such as the deposition of diamond-like carbon (DLC) nano-layers, without a priori knowledge of the physics and chemistry involved. Moreover, it is possible to predict the experimental conditions in order to obtain nano-layers with required properties.
