Abstract

Zjištění této kapitoly odhalují značný potenciál pro rozvoj spolupráce mezi cizineckou policií a neziskovými organizacemi směřující k eliminaci některých významných problémů v interakcích mezi pracovníky policie a cizinci. Analýza dále ukazuje vnitřní faktory výkonu práce cizinecké policie, například nutnost vyrovnávat se s nedostatky ve vybavenosti pracovního prostředí, omezenými možnostmi kariérního postupu, malým zastáním ze strany vyššího vedení i nízkou prestiží svého zaměstnání ve společnosti.

Abstract (in English)

Findings of this chapter reveal a significant potential for development of cooperation between the foreign police and non-profit organizatiČons in order to eliminate some major problems in the interactions between police officers and foreigners. The analysis also shows internal factors of the work of the foreign police, such as shortcomings in the work environment and lack of faciliČties, limited career opportunities, an inadequate advocacy by senior management and low-prestige of the jobs in the society.
