Abstract

Předkládaná publikace je shrnutím současných poznatků z oblasti poruch autistického spektra v České republice a vybraných zemích. Práce si klade za cíl přispět díky ucelenému přehledu aktuálních poznatků a získaných dat z prezentovaných výzkumných šetření, zpracovaných do dvou hlavních šetření s četnými subvýzkumy, ke komplexnějšímu pochopení poruchy, zvýšení informovanosti, podpoření trendů inkluzivního vzdělávání žáků s poruchami autistického spektra, a přispět k odborné diskusi na téma vhodnosti integrace žáků s poruchami autistického spektra do škol hlavního vzdělávacího proudu. Výzkumná šetření jsou uvedena na CD-ROM vloženém do publikace.

Abstract (in English)

The book summarizes current information on autism spectrum disorders in the Czech Republic and some foreign countries. The aim of the book is to contribute through a comprehensive overview of theoretical data and data obtained from research investigations, divided into two main studies with various minor sub studies, to the comprehensive understanding of the disorder, raise of awareness, support of the inclusive trends, and to contribute to the debate on the appropriateness of integration of students on the autism spectrum into mainstream schools. All the research projects are presented at CD-ROM accompanying the book.
