Abstract

Článek popisuje historii prvního desetiletí výpočetní techniky v Československu a věnuje se také rozboru vztahů mezi matematikou (matematiky) a výpočetní technikou (jejími tvůrci) v této době. Vznikl na základě studia archivních materiálů uložených v Archivu Akademie věd ČR.

Abstract (in English)

The article describes the first decade with computers in Czechoslovakia and also untangles the connections between mathematics (mathematicians) and computers (and its deisgners) in that period. It is based on archival research in the Archive of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
