Autor ve své monografii zkoumá na bázi literární komparatistiky některá díla a autory české literatury v jejich mezinárodních souvislostech, mimo jiné ve studiích o K. H. Máchovi, o revitalizaci, o komparativních souvislostech díla Karla Čapka, o žánrové rozrůzněnosti literatury, o kvázipostmodernismu, o žánrech cestopisu, spisovatelského deníku a románové kroniky a o žánrovém rozpětí textů Františka Kautmana.

In his monograph the author on the basis of comparative literary studies investigates several works of Czech literature in its international context, among others in the studies concerning K. H. Mácha, revitalization, comparative context of Karel Čapek’s work, genre differentiation of literature, quasipostmodernism, the genres of the travelogue, the writer‘s diary and the novel chronicle, and the genre range of František Kautman’s works.
