Abstract

V článku jsou uvedeny nádory páteře v přehledu. Jsou uvedeny subjektivní potíže, laboratorní nálezy a používané zobrazovací metody. Indikací operačního léčení je hrozící nebo progredující neurologický nález, hrozící či přítomný kolaps nebo nestabilita páteře. Cílem operace je dekomprese nervových struktur a obnovení tvaru a stability páteře. Typ operace indikujeme dle lokalizace a rozsahu tumoru, věku a stavu pacienta. Operujeme z předního, zadního nebo kombinovaného přístupu.

Abstract (in English)

The authors provide an overview of spine tumours, including patient complaints, laboratory and radiological methods. The indications of surgery are an imminent or progressing neurological deficit, imminent or present spine collapse or instability. The goal of the surgery is neural structure decompression and reconstruction of spine alignment and stability. The type of surgery is indicated with a view to the tumour extent and localization and the patient s age and condition. In their surgeries, the authors use anterior, posterior or combined approach.
