Abstract

The presentation describes and interprets results of a questionnaire survey carried out among students and teachers at the Department of English and American Studies about the use of the essay as a form of course termination.

Příspěvek prezentuje výsledky dotazníkového výzkumu týkajícího se formy ukončení kurzů na katedře anglistiky a amerikanistiky FFMU v Brně. Výzkum, provedený mezi studenty i vyučujícími, byl zaměřen na zjištění způsobu, jakým je užívána forma tzv. odborné eseje a do jaké míry jsou studenti na tento způsob hodnocení připraveni.
