Abstract

Příspěvek se věnuje sociolingvistické analýze fenoménu, jenž usiluje o reformu jazyka v anglicky mluvících zemích, především s ohledem na jeho zjednodušení. Podstatou tohoto úsilí je pokus o zvýšení srozumitelnosti stylu užívaného hlavně v úředních a právních dokumentech.

Abstract (in English)

The contribution is a sociolinguistic analysis of a phenomenon aimed at language reform in English speaking countries, mainly as regards its simplification. The attempts are aimed at increasing the intelligibility of style used mainly in official and legal documents.
