Abstract
Publikace se zabývá vznikem a využitím adaptivního testu z angličtiny, který vznikl jako jeden z výstupů projektu Compact. V úvodní kapitole je popsána historie a základní principy počítačového adaptivního testování. Popisuje tvorbu položkové banky, možnosti začátku a ukončení testu, výběr vhodné položky v průběhu testování. Také se zabývá matematickými modely vhodnými k popisu vlastností položek. V dalších kapitolách se pojednává o tvorbě konkrétního adaptivního testu Compact, který ve své definitivní podobě měří úroveň obecné angličtiny podle Společného evropského rámce pro jazyky, ale lze ho dále rozpracovat nejen jako nástroj měření úrovně specializované slovní zásoby pro jednotlivá oddělení CJV MU, ale i o další jazykové mutace.
Abstract (in English)
The publication is devoted to the creation and use of an adaptive test of English which is one of the outcomes of the Compact Project. In the first chapter, the history and basic principles of computer aided testing are summarized. It theoretically describes the production of an item bank, the possibilities of the starting and ending of adaptive tests in general, the selection of a suitable selection of a test item within the course of the test. It also deals with mathematical models eligible for describing the item characteristics. Next chapters are focused on the creation of the actual adaptive test within the Compact Project which measures the students' overall level of English on the basis of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, but it could be also further elaborated as a tool for measuring not only the level of English for academic purposes for individual departments of the Masaryk University Language Centre, but it can also be adapted for using in other languages taught by the centre.
