Abstract
Ternary Ni-Sn-Bi alloys containing 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15 mole fractions Ni were synthesized. The samples were annealed at 350C in quartz ampoules. Phase transition temperatures and microstructures of the samples were investigated. Differential scanning calorimetry and electron probe microanalysis were used. The existence of a previously reported ternary eutectic reaction was confirmed. The results were compared to CALPHAD-type calculations.

Byly syntetizovány ternární slitiny Ni-Sn-Bi obsahující molární zlomek niklu 0.05, 0.10 a 0.15. Vzorky byly žíhány při 350C v křemenných ampulích. Byly studovány teploty fázových přeměn a mikrostruktura vzorků. Byly použity diferenční skenovací mikroskopie a elektronová mikroanalýza. Byla potvrzena existence dříve publikované ternární eutektické reakce. Výsledky byly srovnány s výpočty metodou CALPHAD.
