Abstract

The presentation dealt with the phenomena of telltale signs of non-native speakers' mother tongue in their English intonation. It mentioned possible ways of dealing with this feature of the spoken performances of students of English and briefly introduced a new subject, supported by the FRVS grant 142/2012, which has intonation in its focus.

Ve své přednášce jsem se zabývala projevy a interferencí mateřského jazyka mluvčího v jeho intonaci při anglických promluvách. Nastínila jsem také možné metodické postupy při práci s mluveným projevem nerodilých mluvčích a představila nově vytvořený předmět zabývající se touto problematikou, který je podporovaný grantem FRVŠ 142/2012.
