Abstract
V originále
MicroRNA-21 (miR-21) is one of the miRNAs that are frequently and highly overexpressed in tumor tissue of colorectal cancer patients. We confirmed over-expression of miR-21 in colorectal cancer patients and its correlation with advanced disease and shorter overall survival. Our results suggest that it is increased migration activity of colon cancer cells over-expressing miR-21 that can be responsible for these effects.
