Abstract
The brief retrospective exploration regarding the formation of orphan care as affiliated with psychosocial assistance establishes main criteria for recognising current issues and obstacle for the reformation of residential care towards better providing children's rights. The special attention is done to procedures of decision-making related to the placement of looked after children and substitute care for children.

kratký rozbor historických vlastnosti péče o siroty je spojen s analýzou vývoje sociálně-psychologické pomoci. stanovená kritéria pro uznání současných mízer a nedostatků transformace sociálně-právní ochrany děti. Středem důslednějšího rozboru je procedura řizení krizového zasahování do rodin.
