Abstract
Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is a key regulatory cytokine that has a significant effect on both the innate and adaptive immune response. The aim of this study was to analyze polymorphisms in the IL-10 gene and their associations with microbial composition and clinical manifestation of chronic (CP) or aggressive (AgP) periodontitis.

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) je klíčový regulační cytokin, který hraje signifikantní roli ve vrozené i získané imunitní reakci. Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat polymorfizmy v IL-10 genu a jejich asociace s mikrobiálním složením plaku a klinickou manifestací chronické (CP) a agresivní (AgP) parodontitidy.
