Our results provide evidence that a higher level of circulating MMP9 is associated with worse EF, and AHF after STEMI treated by primary PCI and 30-days mortality. We found a significant association of TT genotype of MMP9 -1562C/T gene polymorphism with AHF, especially in male group. No significant influence of studied MMP9 gene polymorphisms on MMP9 levels was found. ER -
