Abstract
This paper analyses relations between the army and extremist groups in post-communist countries of the Visegrad group (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland) during the process of democratic consolidation. General framework of military studies, extremism research and “transitology” is used.

Tento příspěvek analyzuje vztahy mezi armádou a extremistickými skupinami v postkomunistických zemích Visegrádské skupiny (Česká republika, Slovensko, Madarsko, Polsko) v procesu demokratické konsolidace. Je využit obecný rámec vojenských studií, výzkumu extremismu a "transitologie".
