Abstract
Předkládaná publikace se věnuje některým aspektům komunálních voleb 2010. Vedle analýzy celkových výsledků se na vzorku 69 obcí a měst – statutární města, obce okresu Chrudim a Šumperk – zaměřuje na fragmentaci zastupitelstev, otázku preferenčního hlasování, radniční koalice a starosty/primátory. Sledované oblasti zasazuje do kontextu dlouhodobých trendů pěti (šesti) volebních aktů.
Abstract (in English)
The municipal elections of 2010 provided a great deal of information about the lowest level of governance in the Czech Republic. In many cases long-term trends were confirmed, while in others the elections signalled a turning point, though it is not yet clear whether this was a one-off blip or the establishment of a new pattern. This publication focuses on a summary of the results from a comparative perspective of the years 1990-2010, which is followed by research into the effective number of parties, the form of executive coalitions and mayoral posts. Three groups of municipalities were used as the subject of research – the statutory cities and the municipalities from the districts of Chrudim and Šumperk.
