This extended essay deals with the analysis of risk factors which may threaten the workers of a given organisation solving offences concerning the possible risk of burnout syndrom occurance. The first part is devoted to the explanation of the expression burnout syndrome, risk factors, elucidation of activities connected with offence negotiating and the organizing of work at given department including people who deal with the offences. The extended essay reveals the main risk factors connected with the working activities at the delict division which might influence the burnout syndrome occurance. To find the data I chose the technique of semistructured interviews with contemporary workers but also with those who do not solve offences any more. The main factors threatening the workers with the occurance of burnout syndrome appear to be first of all the absence of a lawyer at the department, increased work stress of the clerks, the aggressivity of clients and the lack of professional knowledge. At the end I compared the received information with the preceding investigation from 2010 which I carried out at the same department. The result of the comparison is that the risk factors have not changed very much, their background and influence are the same. Currently there appear saving measures, lack of financial funds and fear from losing the work position. I enclose some recommendations to eliminate the effect of the realized risk factors as a prevention of burnout syndrome occurance. (scope of the thesis – 20 908 words)
