Abstract
Bakalářská práce zkoumá etickou a náboženskou rovinu v kontextu vybraných děl Julese Verna, konkrétně Děti kapitána Granta, Tajuplný ostrov, Dvacet tisíc mil pod mořem a Matyáš Sandorf: Nový hrabě Monte Christo. Odhaluje výrazné etické motivy, jimiž jsou autorita, spravedlnost, svoboda a pokrok.

The bachelor thesis explores the ethical and religious aspects in the context of selected novels by Jules Verne, specifically Captain Grant's Children, The Mysterious Island, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, and Mathias Sandorf.
