The bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of home through the
works of Bohuslav Reynek that are its fundamental basis. The
theoretical part contains the analysis of the ways of
expressing the theme of home in graphics arts and in poetry.
The practical part of the thesis is based on the analysis of
motives of the home in the work of Bohuslav Reynek developed in
the theoretical part. It consists of the author's conception of
the theme of home, created as a parallel to Reynek‘s procedure,
but also created by subjective perception of the issue of home.
The set of graphics is created by using a dry needle and etch
technique and is complemented by spontaneous accompanying
drawings and watercolours. Part of the bachelor thesis is a
suggestion for mediation of the themes to children based on a
teaching practice.
