We can observe the renewed interest in the villa architecture
in the 19th
 century in Moravia as well, there originated relatively large
amount of
 them particularly in the second half of this century.
This diploma thesis deals with several villa buildings in this
area,
which are characterized by late-historicism approach to the
architecture,
 which were built in the period around 1880-1900. This diploma
work wants
 to think about the phenomen of late-historicism villa and
specific
examples to show, who the builders were and who the designers
were. Thesis
 attempts to classify these villas both in term of their
functions, forms
 and style.
