The aim of my thesis was to get acquainted with the
professionalism of teachers and how they are formed through
self-reflection. I wanted to see if the teacher self-evaluate,
which method they use and how often are they
self-evaluating.The first part focuses on the teacher and her
professionalism. There I am decribing her teaching skills and
competencies. I am defining the basic concepts, which are
self-assessment and self-reflection. Further, self-reflection
is divided into different aspects.In the next phase, are
described specific methods of self-reflection. Methods of
observation, self-reflective questionnaire, self-reflective
conversation self-reflective diary and portfolio of
kindergarten teacher. In the fourth part, which is practical, I
am dealing with the evaluation of	self-assessment
questionnaires focused on self-evaluation of kindergarten
teacher. Respondents were selected kindergarten teachers from
different parts of the Czech Republic.
