The diploma thesis ‘The village of Soběchleby and its
neighbourhood during 1918-1945‘discusses about the history and
social life in chosen villages of a district called ‘Záhoří’.
The thesis is concerned with the political and economic
problematic. In next chapters is attention paid to the life of
the Church, schooling and clubs because thanks to them the
education and culture was cultivated in the villages. The
important chapter is also the one describing services which
developed in the studied period.
