Abstract: The subject of my thesis is the participation of Karel Nezbeda, a member of the Czechoslovak Armored Brigade, in the siege of Dunkirk between the autumn of 1944 and the spring of 1945. In the theoretical portion I introduce Nezbeda himself and I discuss his fate within the context of historical events.
