The aim of empirical part of the thesis was to describe and
characterize the facilities, which fill children's leisure time
in the region of Uherské Hradiště. Additional goal was to find
out how students with mental disabilities spend their leisure
time in this district and how this issue is seen by educators
working with these children. The theoretical part consists of
three chapters. The first chapter deals with psychopaedic
terminology. The second chapter is devoted to concepts:
integration, inclusion and describes the educational system and
consultation services under applicable legislation in the Czech
Republic. The last theoretical chapter focuses on the
definition of leisure time, defines the factors that may affect
the leisure time of individual persons and also options that
are offered to students in their free time. Therapies which are
primarily used to fill leisure time of students and individuals
with severe disabilities are characterized at the end of this
chapter.
