Thesis objective:
The specific goal of this thesis is to identify the direct impact of introduced innovations on the performance indicators and position of a selected company within the Slovak automotive industry and to develop targeted recommendations for the improvement of innovation-driven growth in the entire industry.

Procedure and method used:
The basic approach applied to the thesis is the structured approach. Therefore, a general review of the literature will be done to define a gap in research, that is, the impact of innovation on firm performance within a specific industry, specifically in Slovakia. In addition, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with key stakeholders of the selected company to provide qualitative insight into their way of innovating and the perceived impact on performance. The qualitative data gathered from the interviews will be systematically analyzed to allow for the possible discovery of themes and patterns. The findings will then be discussed in relation to the existing literature and implications for the future.
