Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historií a reprezentací drag kultury. Práce se zaměřuje na základní odborné termíny používané v souvislosti s touto kulturou a na její historii. Dále analyzuje vývoj reprezentace drag queens ve filmech a seriálech. Hlavním zaměřením této práce je Americká televizní show RuPaul´s Drag Race a její rozbor. Cílem této práce je zaměřit se na vývoj reprezentace drag kultury a jak se změnil s RuPaulem a RuPaul´s Drag Race.

This bachelor thesis deals with drag and its representation in popular culture, focus-ing on RuPaul´s Drag Race. It analyses the representation of drag by explaining some basic terms and the study of the history of drag. It then analyses the evolution of the representation of drag queens in movies and shows.
