The aim of the bachelor thesis „Ruderal vegetation of villages south of Brno“ was to document ruderal vegetation of four villages and compare it with each other and also with other places of Czech Republic and Slovakia. Sobotovice, Rebešovice, Sokolnice and Ořechov differed mainly in a size and structure of development and in altitude. 114 phytosociological relevés containing 165 species of vascular plants and 14 species of mosses were obtained in years 2006 – 2007. Relevés were divided into 7 clusters and classified on the basis of dominant or diagnostic species. Then the villages were beeing comapred. Particular classification was possible only in 3 communities. Vegetation of other clusters was very heterogenous and was classified only at the level of alliances or orders. The villages were very similar by the vegetation and their communities were descibed aslo from other villages.
