Abstract
Práce „Porovnání Brideshead Revisited a Great Gatsby v sociálním kontextu“ je literární přehled, který srovnává sociální postoje a postavy mezi těmito dvěma romány. Hlavním účelem této práce je porovnat a představit postavy a společenské změny, které byly postaveny na výzkumech a pramenech shromážděných odborníky a současnými zdroji. Práce zkoumá chování, symboliku a události románů v sociálním kontextu a mezi sebou navzájem.
Abstract
Thesis ‘Comparing Brideshead Revisited and Great Gatsby in social context’ is a literature review that compares the social attitudes and characters between the two novels. The main purpose of this work is to compare and present the characters and social changes that has been built upon research and sources gathered by experts and contemporary sources. The thesis explores behaviour, symbolism and events of the novels in social context and between each other.
