Presented bachelor’s thesis deals with the relationship between premenstrual changes and women's partnership satisfaction. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the description of the physiology of women’s menstrual cycle and its characteristics are presented. Next, the phenomena of the PMS and the PMDD are defined and a review of current knowledge on the topic of the relationship between partnerships and premenstrual changes is given. The measurement was performed via a set of two questionnaires. In order to investigate the couples‘ satisfaction of the respondents, a Czech translation of Couples Satisfaction Index (CSI) was used. The severity of premenstrual changes was investigated by the Questionnaire of the Severity of Premenstrual Changes. The analysis of the gathered data was carried out on a sample of total 438 women. Based on the calculation of the correlation coefficients, it was stated, that the relationship between premenstrual changes and women's partnership satisfaction cannot be dismissed, specifically, that a very weak negative relationship between the constructs might exist.
