This thesis examines residents’ attitudes toward energy and
climate measures. Its aim is to analyse the attitudes and
opinions of residents in three selected municipalities
regarding climate protection and sustainable energy. The
theoretical part introduces key concepts related to climate
change, sustainability, and the role of municipalities, and
then analyses residents’ attitudes toward specific climate
measures. The practical part examines the extent to which
residents perceive their municipalities’ climate measures, and
how these activities influence their attitudes and behaviour.
Based on the findings, specific climate and energy measures are
proposed for each municipality.
