Táto práca sa zaoberá vyhodnocovaním vyhľadávania matematických informácií. Práca dáva prehľad histórie, iniciatív a tiež štandardne používaných metód a meraní v oblasti vyhodnocovania vyhľadávania. Tieto poznatky sú aplikované na špecifiká matematického vyhľadávania. Abstract

The thesis deals with the evaluation of mathematics information retrieval (IR). It gives an overview of the history of regular IR evaluation, initiatives that are engaged in this field of research as well as most common methods and measures used for evaluation. Thesis description
In corpora of STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as well as in Digital Mathematics Libraries (DML) there is a need to handle mathematical formulae. Standard DML tools have been recently enriched by approaches allowing indexing and retrieval of mathematics (i.e. Math Indexer and Searcher (MIaS) system). Approaches to evaluation of information retrieval (IR) will be researched in the thesis in order to be applied to mathematical IR systems. Changes aiming towards MIaS v2 will be suggested, implemented and described. MIaS system will be evaluated by several methods using current standards (OpenSearch) to reach the highest F-score possible.
