This diploma thesis deals with religious processions in
Čejkovice as are pilgrimage, suppliant procession at Saint
Mark´s day  and procession at Corpus Christi celebration. This
work is divided into chapters, where is described general
terminology about this phenomena, its history and development,
then present and finally signfication of processions for
religious community and its active participants.
