The diploma thesis discusses the educational field of health
education and teaching activities that teachers perform during
the teaching of this discipline.
The theoretical part contains basic characteristic of the
health education
and the importance of education in this field of study.
Furthermore, the theoretical part
of the thesis is focused on general didactic knowledge that
teachers need for teaching activities and on the realization of
the health education lessons itself.
The practical part of the thesis presents the results of the
survey. Quantitative
and qualitative results demonstrate how teachers themselves
perceive the importance
of teaching the health education and how teachers are realizing
this teaching themselves.
