The student will focus on mapping existing solutions for user-friendly bug-reporting approaches on websites through add-on web components that allow appending annotated images and screenshots to the textual report. He will compare them and, based on the analysis of the features of existing tools, he will design and implement his solution in the form of a web component. The implementation will focus on user-friendliness, ease of integration with Gitlab platform, and extendability with new features and other issue-tracking platforms in the future. The resulting component will be published under an open license in the NPM (Node Package Manager) repository. The work will also include user testing to detect bugs and implementation issues.
