The bachelor thesis deals with 2D kinematic analysis of javelin
throw. The analysis focused specifically on the javelin thrower
Martin Konečný with a personal record of 73.27m. We analyzed
the javelin technique using Kinovea.org software. We compared
the results of the analysis with a few javelin throwers, namely
Jakub Vadlejch, Magnus Kirt, Thomas Rӧhler, Tero Pitkӓmӓki and
Andreas Thorkildsen. The best personal performances of athletes
in special javelin throw tests were used in the work and all
test results were compared with our proband. In the resume, we
made an evaluation and provided the feedback to the athlete.
