The thesis deals with the politics, self-government, education
and religion in Ivančice during the years 1938-1945. Its aim is
to analyse the continuity and discontinuity of chosen
authorities and institutions and by means of them to show the
way of the impact of the change of the political regime on the
inhabitants’ lives. The thesis also focuses on the most
important moments related to the history of the town in the
researched period.
