Závěrečná práce: Bc. Adam Krídl: Enhancement of Clusterability and Maintainability of Repour Service
Diplomová práce
Enhancement of Clusterability and Maintainability of Repour Service
Anotace
Abstract
This thesis was created as an effort of Red Hat's Project Newcastle to migrate an existing microservice Repour from Python to Quarkus, and enhance some of key cloud-native properties, namely clusterability and maintainability. As part of the thesis, such a solution was designed and implemented, improving the current solution. The new solution is prepared to be fully migrated once Project Newcastle decides to do so.
Zadání práce
- Study an open-source build system PNC, its microservice Repour, and Quarkus framework.
- Analyze the existing implementation of the Repour microservice and its usage within the PNC build system with focus on clusterability, maintainability, scalability, and potentially another properties.
- Design new microservice to address issues of the current solution.
- Implement the designed solution using Quarkus framework and contribute the work to the PNC project.
