The subject of the bachelor thesis "Amateur web literature data
analysis" is a quantitative study of metadata from amateur
original literature
on the Royal Road platform. It is a case study aimed at
identifying
factors influencing the popularity of this type of literature.
The theoretical part describes core concepts, literary
platforms, and popularity in the context of online creation. In
the practical part, the data collection technique, and the use
of statistical methods for analysis are presented. The results
of the analysis show the basic characteristics of the obtained
data and the relationships between variables and popularity.
